Thanks to your support, UNSW programs remain in high demand globally. We acknowledge the constraints that this creates on places available and the challenges faced by you when supporting your students to apply for UNSW.
Due to several factors including visa processing delays and changes in demand for in demand for indivisual programs amongst our domestic students, we are pleased to offer further, limited opportunity for places across selected programs for our Term 3, 2026 intake.
Opportunities for your students
These places will be accessible via the following opportunities:
1
Opportunity for Initiated but Unsubmitted Applicants Over the next few days, we will be communicating to all students who have commenced an application for Term 3, 2026, but are yet to submit. This group will be provided with a fee waiver code, and will only be available to current, unsubmitted applicants for Term 3, 2026. This code will be live between Tuesday, 24 March and Sunday, 5 April 2026. New applicants or existing applicants submitting after Sunday, 5 April 2026 will not be able to use this code.
Please encourage your students with an initiated, yet incomplete application to re-visit and submit their application during this time. The Term 3, 2026 intake and the current selected program/s should not be modified in UNSW Apply Online as this opportunity is specifically related to available programs. Candidates should only continue an application to their previously selected program and will not be able to select other programs for admission in Term 3, 2026. Applications for any 2027 intake using the code will be withdrawn.
PLEASE NOTE - As part of ongoing improvements to our digital experience, UNSW Apply online will be unavailable from 5:30pm (AEDT) on Friday, 27 March to 11:59pm (AEDT) on Sunday 29 March 2026.

Engaging Incomplete Applicants Next week, we will be communicating to all applicants that have been assessed and deemed incomplete. These applicants are our on-hold (IDOC) category where we require further documentation such as an updated or final transcript, portfolio or resume, which would allow UNSW Admissions to fully assess for entry.
This group will be asked to submit a response to two short questions asking if they are still interested in joining UNSW from Term 3, 2026. If they are, they will be asked to provide an estimated date that they expect to be able to provide outstanding documentation. This approach will allow us to validate intentions and provide guidance to those who remain interested.

Priority Application Weeks On completion of stages 1 & 2, we aim to launch our Priority Application Weeks. This will run between Monday, 6 April and Sunday, 19 April 2026.
During this period, UNSW will provide our partners with an Application Fee Waiver (AFW) code which can be used to waive the fee of applications for eligible programs for commencement in Term 3, 2026. Codes should be used for quality, qualified applicants only and our Future Students team will be on hand and bookable for short 1:1 consults with you and your students. Applicants meeting the admissions criteria will be waitlisted and considered as part of upcoming offer rounds.
More information on the Priority Application Period will follow by the end of March.
We will provide further details on the Priority Application Week shortly. In the meantime, do let us know if you have any questions by contacting your dedicated Future Students International contact.
