New Pre-Masters in Art & Design and Media We are expanding our Pre-Masters Programs to include two new specialisations: Art & Design and Media, alongside existing specialisations in Engineering and Information Technology. These programs support international students with academic and English language preparation, offering direct entry into a master’s degree at UNSW Sydney. 2025 Scholarships The 15% International Student Award remains available for eligible Diploma and Pre-Masters students in 2025 and 2026 and is now extended to new Foundation Studies students who commence a Foundation Studies program as a new student from 1 July 2025 onwards. Regional Scholarships valued at A$7,500 are also available for eligible Foundation Studies and Diploma students from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, or Thailand commencing between 1 July and 31 December 2025. Regional Merit Scholarships are open to students who have not yet accepted their offer. Ineligible applicants include sponsored students, those repeating a program, or undertaking the Business stream. Scholarships are tuition fee waivers.

2026 intakes Applications are now open for all 2026 intakes, including Foundation Studies, Diplomas, and the Pre-Masters Program. All ELICOS intakes for 2026 remain open. Due to growing international demand, places may be limited for students packaging Foundation Studies or Diplomas with a UNSW Bachelor of Commerce. Apply early to secure a place.
