University closure over the holiday season |
The Student Experience Centre will have a small crew of staff working over the period of 22 December - 5 January, so there may be some delays in receiving a response. You can submit a query to them via our Ask Auckland portal here (don't forget to sign in). The remainder of the University is closed down over this period. If your query needs to be escalated, you will receive a response after 5 January 2026. If you need further assistance, you may find answers related to your enquiry by checking out AskAuckland. |

Initial Teacher Education - Graduate Diploma programmes As the Graduate Diploma programmes begin on 19 January, time to complete outstanding checklist items is running out quickly.
The University will continue processing results over the holiday break, but please note if your applicants have not yet completed their interview or Literacy/Numeracy test, it is unlikely that they will meet required deadlines at this late stage. |
NCEA, CIE and IB school leavers processing update We are entering the peak processing period for NCEA, CIE and IB results as they are released. Over December to January, the Admissions team is focused on preparing for large cohorts and key deadlines, ensuring results are assessed as efficiently as possible once they become available. |
University Closure The University will be closed for the holiday period from Saturday 20th December, re-opening on Monday 5th January. Admissions will have a very small number of staff working over the closedown period with priorities focussed on the Initial Teacher Education Graduate Diploma’s, Conditional Offer processing, and Enquiries. |
Applications are now closed for Selection Programme & Postgraduate Programmes

Applications for the Selection Programme and postgraduate programmes have now closed. As these programmes have limited places and specific selection requirements, we are no longer able to accept new applications for the current intake.
For postgraduate programmes, applications submitted after the closing date may be considered if places are available. For programme-specific deadlines and further details, please visit the University of Auckland application closing dates webpage. |
