Greetings to all our esteemed international recruiting agents,

In our commitment to providing you with the latest updates and essential information, this month’s newsletter highlights important developments regarding the enrolment for the Master of Business Analytics (MBusAn) programme for Quarter 2, 2024.

  • Status of MBusAn for Q2 2024: We wish to inform you that the MBusAn programme for Quarter 2, 2024 is now full. The programme seats are filled by enrolment status on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Confirmation for enrolled students: In the event that a student has secured enrolment in the required Quarter 2 courses (BUSINFO 700 and 705), there is no need for concern. Their place is confirmed.

  • Options for students without confirmed seats: For students who have completed payment and applied for a student visa but have not received seat confirmation from the University of Auckland, they can consider the following:

Option one: Alternative Professional Masters programmes are available for Quarter 2. They can consider switching and applying for one of the following programmes:

  • Master of Management (MMgt)

  • Master of Professional Accounting (MProfAcctg)

Option two: Deferral to a later quarter: Students also have the option to defer their application to Quarter 4 of 2024.

  • Student visa:

    • Visa implications for programme changes: A new visa application is required for students who decide to switch to a different programme for Quarter 2, 2024.

    • Communicating with Immigration New Zealand (INZ): It is vital for students with pending visa applications to update INZ promptly with any changes in their programme enrolment.

  • Late acceptance: In the event that spaces become available later for Quarter 2, priority will likely be given to students who are on the waitlist and either already possess a student visa or are currently in New Zealand. Please note that evidence of a student visa is mandatory by the start of Quarter 2, 2024 (8th April 2024), and late arrivals will not be accommodated.

If students decide to defer to Q4, 2024, we encourage them to enrol at their earliest convenience to ensure their placement. As communicated to students on 16 Jan. 2024, the number of seats in this programme is limited.

We hope this newsletter provides you with the necessary information to assist your students effectively. For any queries or further assistance, please feel free to reach out to our team.
