This email outlines the important next steps to take after receiving your conditional offer. Please read it carefully to ensure you’re on track for a smooth enrolment process.

1. Check Your eVision Tasks & Monitor Your Progress

Please log in to your eVision portal regularly to review your ‘Admission tasks’ and ‘Alerts’. It’s important to track your progress in meeting the conditions of your offer and complete tasks by their due dates.

You're also welcome to reach out if you'd like to discuss your study plan.

 2. English Language Requirements Not Yet Met?

No matter your current English level or academic goals, we offer a range of programmes to help you meet the language requirements:

This programme offers a pathway to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at the University of Otago.

3. Book Your Accommodation

Applications for Semester 1, 2026 accommodation open on 1 August 2025. Please apply through the Accommodation tab in your eVision portal.

Accommodation Options:

1. Residential Colleges – Ideal for undergraduate and foundation students

2. UniFlats – Suitable for postgraduates, PhD students, and second-year undergraduates
   
   

How to apply:

• Log into your eVision account

• Under “My details”, click “Residential Colleges and UniFlats”

• Follow the link to Te Puna, the Otago Student Accommodation Portal

• You’ll receive an email titled “Registration with Te Puna” with login details

• Complete the required steps and upload any requested documents
