Guidance for your applicants on how to accept our Postgraduate £4,000 scholarship!After our email last week announcing that we are offering Postgraduate Taught international students starting with us in September 2025 a 'Welcome to Plymouth' scholarship, worth £4,000 off tuition fees in year one - we’re now following up with the next steps. What does your applicant need to do to accept the scholarship?If
applicants have previously followed the steps outlined below to accept a
prior scholarship in their Applicant Portal, then they don’t need to do
anything.
Applicants can check the scholarship has been awarded on their
Applicant Portal under ‘Applicant Finance Overview’. This enhanced
£4,000 scholarship replaces both
the former 'Welcome to Plymouth' scholarship (£1,500 off first year
tuition fees) and the 'International Postgraduate Merit Scholarship'
(£3,500 off first year tuition fees). However, if your applicant has NOT previously accepted a scholarship within their Applicant Portal, they will need to follow the simple steps below to accept the enhanced £4,000 scholarship.This
scholarship will be awarded to all PGT international students who meet
the entry requirements outlined in their offer letter.Accept your scholarship! Step 1: Please log in to your applicant portal. Under ‘Applications’, click on ‘View’.Step 2: Click on ‘View Funding Applications’.Step 3: Click on ‘Respond to Offer’.Step 4: Click ‘Accept’.Important
to note: There might be a delay from accepting your scholarship to it
showing as a tuition fee deduction in your Financial Overview. Click here to go to your Applicant Portal
