Early Payment Discount!Dear Partner, we can’t wait to welcome your applicants to the University of Plymouth in September!In addition to any scholarship your applicant may be eligible for, we are offering your applicant a £500 discount off their first year’s tuition fees if your applicant pays them in full by Monday 1st September 2025!What your applicant needs to do:Step 1: Please advise your applicant to log in to their applicant portal, view their offer, and click on ‘View Financial Overview’.Step 2: If the applicant has been awarded a scholarship, please make sure they accept this under ‘My Funding Applications’ to update their remaining balance (they may have previously completed this step). It will take 24 hours to update their remaining balance once they have accepted their scholarship. The applicant may only accept one scholarship.Step 3: The applicant will need to check the balance value they have remaining to pay, and make an advance payment of that amount, minus £500.For example: If their balance value is £20,000, they would need to pay £19,500.If the applicant has already paid their deposit please make sure they also deduct this from their final ‘money owed’. Guidance for your applicants on how to accept our Postgraduate £4,000 scholarship!After our email last week announcing that we are offering Postgraduate Taught international students starting with us in September 2025 a 'Welcome to Plymouth' scholarship, worth £4,000 off tuition fees in year one - we’re now following up with the next steps. What does your applicant need to do to accept the scholarship?If applicants have previously followed the steps outlined below to accept a prior scholarship in their Applicant Portal, then they don’t need to do anything. Applicants can check the scholarship has been awarded on their Applicant Portal under ‘Applicant Finance Overview’. This enhanced £4,000 scholarship replaces both the former 'Welcome to Plymouth' scholarship (£1,500 off first year tuition fees) and the 'International Postgraduate Merit Scholarship' (£3,500 off first year tuition fees). However, if your applicant has NOT previously accepted a scholarship within their Applicant Portal, they will need to follow the simple steps below to accept the enhanced £4,000 scholarship.This scholarship will be awarded to all PGT international students who meet the entry requirements outlined in their offer letter.Accept your scholarship! Step 1: Please log in to your applicant portal.
