Our colleagues in the Business Compliance Team have asked us to notify you of a concerning issue they have identified recently. As you know, we regularly verify submitted documents such as bank statements, academic transcripts, and employment letters directly with the issuing institutions. Unfortunately, recent checks have revealed several instances of forged or fraudulently obtained bank documents. The University views the submission of fraudulent documents as a serious matter because it undermines the integrity of the application process. Consequently, two applicants have been reported to the Department of Home Affairs (DHA), and investigations are underway in other potential cases. Individuals attempting to deceive the system often target busy periods like this to submit fraudulent documents or applications of poor quality. We urge you to remain vigilant in the coming weeks to help us identify any fraudulent activity. To assist in this effort, we ask that you: Carefully verify all documentation, especially academic qualifications and financial statements provided by applicants.Ensure your team is properly trained on document verification procedures relevant to your region.Confirm that any partners or sub-agents you work with are also conducting their own verification processes before forwarding applications to us.
